Further builds on the sailor's seamanship skills and introduces the additional skills required to skipper a larger sailboat, 30-50 feet, on large inland lakes or open coastal waters in any conditions.

After three classroom seminars, five days, including four nights, will be spent aboard a larger, fully-equipped 34 - 50 foot cruising boat.

Students in the class will actually plan and execute a complete trip itinerary on the Texas Gulf Coast, Florida Keys, or the Caribbean.

The cruise will include one navigation leg of at least 50 nautical miles, out of sight of land, by day and night.
