Builds on the sailor's basic seamanship skills and introduces the additional skills required to skipper a larger sailboat, 30-50 feet, on large inland lakes or open coastal waters by day.

After two classroom seminars, four days, including three nights, will be spent aboard a larger, fully-equipped 34 - 50 foot cruising boat.

Students in the class will actually plan and execute a complete trip itinerary on the Texas Gulf Coast, Florida Keys, or the Caribbean.
