Improve ones basic boat handling skills and confidence.

Upon completion of the written and on-the-water testing required for ASA Basic Sailing certification, you will be ready to handle a boat in protected waters and to crew on larger boats.

You will also be able to rent the actual boat you trained on.

Successful candidates earn a National Safe Boating Certification approved by NASBLA and the U.S. Coast Guard.

Class size usually limited to three students.

This course also serves as a good refresher in the event that you sailed some time ago or learned to sail on a smaller boat and wish to step up to a larger keelboat.
